A small amount of earwax is naturally produced, it cleans your ears and keeps them from getting infected. However, if earwax builds up it can cause issues such as irritation, itchiness, and decreased hearing.
Wax can become impacted by the use of cotton buds and other items inserted into the ear, pushing wax deeper into the ear canal.
